Interesting comments. From a technical standpoint, the compression ratio, lack of a knock sensor to retard timimg, and technology US 87 Octane should work fine. It does in my 96 in the cooler months, I move up to 89 in May and am still at that point with the weather up to the mid 80's. Have tried some 95 and can't tell $0.10 gal difference. We don't use reformulated (oxygenated - alcohol added) fuel as such here and that will make a diffrence. But watch the pump when you are traveling as many areas do to get or stay within EPA compliance. Max
